A.    OVERVIEW

Anchored with the PICE’s goal and objective to Continuously Advance the Interest and Promote the Welfare of Members, PICE shall provide assistance to members such as job placement.

The purpose of this guideline is to ensure all members of PICE are aware of open positions to participating companies and have the opportunity to apply for those they are qualified for. PICE believes in promoting from its members when possible, and is committed to providing employment opportunities and engaging in effective recruitment and selection practices in compliance with all applicable employment laws. PICE promotes equal employment opportunity to all member-applicants.

Businesses and individuals posting jobs are responsible for ensuring their posts comply with applicable laws, statutes, and regulations. PICE reserves the right to reject, approve, or remove any job post for any reason at any time, in our sole discretion.

B.   DEFINITION

Member-applicant – means regular or associate member of PICE who seeks for an employment opportunity.

Participating Company/Organization – means organization who has an employment requirement and thus offering opportunity to the member-applicant.

C.   GENERAL GUIDELINES

All job placement announcement shall be done in PICE Website and must comply to the following general guidelines:

  1. Discrimination. Job posts must not discriminate against applicants based on any protected characteristics, including, but not limited to, race, ethnicity, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, family status, disability, medical or genetic condition or any other basis protected under any law. Job posts must comply with all applicable laws prohibiting discrimination.
  1. Misrepresentation. Job posts must not impersonate a brand, company, entity, or public figure. This includes falsely representing an association with a business, job, hiring company, or poster. Failure to clearly disclose in any Posting that a position is for an independent contractor or is part-time, piecework, commission-based, or has otherwise nontraditional working conditions or compensation may constitute intentional misrepresentation.

Misleading, Deceptive, or Fraudulent Jobs. Job posts must not promote employment opportunities that are misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent. It should not contain enticements without also providing a clear explanation of the role’s responsibilities and requirements.

Multi Level Marketing. Job posts must not promote employment opportunities for business models that offer quick compensation for little investment, including multi level marketing opportunities.

No Employment Opportunity. Job posts must promote an actual employment opportunity that is available or will soon become available. Job posts may not post advertisements or solicitations for business or services.

Personal Information. Job posts must not solicit personal identification or financial information from any potential applicants.

  1. Spam. Participating companies and organizations shall not contact applicants for purposes other than related to the specific employment opportunity described in the posting.
  2. Data Privacy. Participating companies and organizations warrant that they are compliant to the Data Privacy Act of 2012, its Implementing Rules and Regulations, and the issuances of the National Privacy Commission. Participating companies and organizations have the obligation to notify PICE, the member-applicants and the National Privacy Commission about the suspected or confirmed breach to its data processing system. 
  1. Disclaimers:
    1. PICE will only provide a venue, through its website, for employment opportunity and will not collect, use, or process any data from the member-applicant. The member-applicant sends his/her application directly to the email address provided in every job placement announcement.
    1. PICE does not guarantee sure employment. Assessment and qualification depends on the hiring company or organization.
    1. PICE only provides assistance to its members for job placements and does not in any way engage in recruitment and placement activities as defined in the Labor Code or any other related laws, rules and regulations.
    1. PICE does not collect any payment for every job placement. 
  1. Waiver. The participating company/organization allows PICE to use its logo and company profile for purposes of job placements.
  1. Duration. Posting of job placement announcements will commence for one month unless such vacant position has been occupied or the participating company/organization sends an advice that the position is still open.

D.   PROCEDURE

1.    All requests for job placement shall be coursed through the PICE Secretariat. Job placement requests must include the following for the reference of member-applicant.

a.    Company Profile

b.    Position Title

c.    Brief job description

d.    Eligibility

e.    Required skills

f.     Contact Number of the company

g.    Email address of the company

2.    The PICE Secretariat shall evaluate the request and submit its report and recommendation to the Admin and Website Committee for appropriate action and approval.

3.    Once approved by the Committee, the PICE Secretariat shall make placement announcements to the PICE Website.

4.    Appropriate Data Privacy Notice and Caution shall be made before posting of any job placement.

 The PICE reserves the right to change/modify any or all of the above-mentioned guidelines and procedures, whenever it is deemed necessary to do so.
