WITH the theme, “Understanding the Past, Engineering the Future: Moving Forward to the Challenges of the New Normal”, PICE national readies for the 2020 PICE Virtual National Convention and Technical Conference on November 20-21, 2020 to be hosted through hybrid online platforms.
The PICE recognizes that construction and engineering projects around the world are being impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic in numerous ways. Many in the infrastructure and construction sector are grappling with the challenge of bouncing back from the pandemic with the continued goal of safe work practices to flatten the curve of new COVID-19 cases. Nevertheless, this pandemic is not, at this stage, rendering projects altogether impossible to complete as civil engineers always find way to surpass the challenges they encounter.
The 2020 Virtual NatCon and TechCon will be FREE OF CHARGE to all ACTIVE MEMBERS who have already registered to the PICE Membership Portal.
“We need your full support and assistance to make our virtual convention truly a successful endeavor of the National Board of Directors and all its chapters and members, and to enable PICE to continue the implementation of our various programs and projects for our members and the society especially during this time of pandemic,” Dr. Erdsan Rene S. Suero, PICE National President said. PICE issued Circular No. 2020-18 about the details of the event.
